Scroll Extreme tablet review

Scroll Extreme tablet review - price, features and specs of the 9.7-inch Android tablet Scroll Extreme

Scroll Extreme Android 4.0 tablet

Scroll Extreme is a powerful Android 4.0 tablet with fast 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and amazing Mali-400 dual-core graphics processor. Scroll Extreme also has 1GB of DDR3 RAM which is just enogh for a modern tablet to run all applications on the go.

The space for storage in this tablet is 8GB but you can easily expand it up to 32GB with Micro SD card.

Scroll Extreme tablet has a very good 9.7-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch display with 1024 x 768 native resolution. This is the best display we've seen from Scroll tablets so far. Together with the good Mali-400 graphics accelerator this screen performs very well and picture quality is just great. The display itself has great colors and wide viewing angles. G-Sensor is also available for easy rotation of the screen.

Scroll Extreme tablet is great for Internet browsing. The super fast Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n together with the amazing display make the surfing experience just awesome. The tablet is fast and responsive and even heavier pages load fast enough. No worries for the flash content as well because this tablet comes with Adobe Flash installed.

Scroll Extreme tablet is great for multimedia. It features 3D games and 1080p 3D video output. Watching movies on this tablet is a real pleasure. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is also good.

Scroll Extreme tablet has two cameras on board - one 0.3 mp front-facing camera and a 2.0 mp camera on the back side of the tablet.

Scroll Extreme tablet comes pre-installed with Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich operating system. This means you will have plenty of interesting apps available in the Android Market. This operating system suits best to the tablet's great hardware features.

Scroll Extreme tablet comes with a strong 7800mAH battery which will last for about 5-6 hours of moderate usage.

Here are few other Scroll tablets that we recommend:

Connectivity options of the Scroll Extreme tablet include Micro USB and HDMI TV-Output (Mini HDMI) which allows 3D stream to be transferred directly to your home TV. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also available in case you want to plug in some quality stereo headphones.

The price for the Scroll Extreme tablet is very competitive. This tablet can be found in online tech stores for around £170 which in my mind is quite a good deal for such a capable device.

Conclusion - good tablet for the money and definitely a good alternative to some more expensive high-end devices.

Scroll Extreme is a portable, capacitive touch-screen AndroidTM 4.0 tablet. With its large 9.7", highly responsive screen, powerful hardware and stylish, slim design

Scroll Extreme tablet dimensions:

  1. This review reads more like an advertisement or press release. You don't level a single criticism at the and refer to basic features like Wi-Fi support up to the N specification as "super fast".

The product may well be very good, but I just can't make any judgement based upon this review.

  2. You have a point but sometimes it is nice to see all features and specifications of a product at one place so you can decide if this is what you need. Whenever we have the chance to offer a full review of the product we do it but still this does not mean it would be accurate enough for all consumers as it is just an opinion. And YES wireless N is currently the fastest WiFi connection and with the widest range. You are welcome to share with us your opinion about some products/gadgets you use. Thanks

Very vague and really just a spec list padded out.

    Hi

I would agree that a review should incorporate a degree of objectivity and critical analysis of what it does well and not so well. Other reviews share some of your enthusiasm but were withering over the quality of the front camera and lifelessness of the display, for example. Still, no doubt a decent product at the price.
