Archos 80 G9 tablet review - Android tablets growing popularity made them some of the most wanted tech products today. Today we are going to review one of the mid-priced Google Android tablets from Archos.
Archos 80 G9 is an 8-inch Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet which offers good performance for a good price.

Hardware - Archos 80 G9 has 1 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor.

The 8-inch LCD multi-touch display has resolution of 1024x768 which is above the average for tablet of this size. The display is bright and offers good viewing angles. The colors of the display are rich and vivid.

The built-in space for storage in this tablet is 8GB but it is expandable to 32GB with additional microSD card. Archos 80 G9 has 3D OpenGL (ES 2.0) support as well.
Connectivity: the Archos 80 G9 tablet is well equipped with connection options. The built-in WiFi b/g/n adapter, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI and USB 2.0 make this tablet really functional.
The 1.3 megapixel front camera with mic let you use this tablet for video and Skype calls with ease. The sound is provided by the built-in speaker.

The operating system of the is Android 3.2 Honeycomb so you can enjoy some of the many apps from the Android market.

Archos 80 G9 has a strong Lithium polymer battery will last for up to 10 hours of active work. Most of the time you will be able to surf the net for around 4-5 hours without any issues.
The price of the Archos 80 G9 tablet varies around £200 (240 Euro). Not exactly cheap but this is quite capable Android tablet.
