Special events - This year the special exhibition in pavilion 8 will be devoted to “Automobiles and Advertising” in partnership with INA (The French national institute of broadcasting).

This is a powerful theme, both for the still images, the famous motionless ads called “réclames” in France at the time, and for the animated images which became TV commercials. Fifteen makes have decided to participate: Alpine, Alfa-Roméo, Citroën, Fiat, Lancia, Jeep, Mercedes-Benz, Michelin, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Toyota, Valeo et Volkswagen.
Fifty vehicles will be presented through the most emblematic ad campaigns of their history including the Peugeot Type 15 ,1897, the Renault Nervasport ZC4 1935 and the Citroen Type A , 1919.
Each presentation will be digitally aired either in full size or/and in segments. Furthermore special “collector” advertising objects will be displayed in glass windows in order for the audience to discover or rediscover them.
