2013 Hyundai i30 review – in today’s car review we are meeting you with one of the most successful Korean vehicles in last few years. Hyundai i30 was positioned at the most crowded car segment in Europe and had to face the competition from VW, Opel and Ford. We have to say that the i30 did great and now VW Golf, Opel Astra, Ford Focus and company have to watch out for every step forward of the Korean. The latest generation Hyundai i30 was presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and of course we were there to capture the glory of the new vehicle. If I have to be honest I wasn’t surprised at all with the car I saw there and the quality of the brand it represented.
The new 2013 Hyundai i30 is a very good looking vehicle and this combined with the guaranteed build quality makes it a very desirable car. On the show we also so the new awful looking Honda Civic and the KIA Ceed as well which are also competing in the same segment. Honestly I think none of them has any chance against the i30, at least on the European market. Here are some more images of the 2013 Hyundai i30 5-door hatchback:

We were also impressed with the interior of the 2013 Hyundai i30. This was not one of the strong features in the previous generation i30 but this has changed completely in the new model. Quality materials, easy to use instruments and well arranged dashboard are just some of the good qualities of the i30 2013. The interior space is more than enough for four passengers and the space for luggage is also quite big. My overall impression with the Hyundai i30 2013 interior is very good.

As to the technical innovations of the new 2013 Hyundai i30 there are plenty to mention. New more economical petrol and diesel engines, new upgraded manual and automatic transmissions and improved suspension. We have to say that all of them were pretty fine in the previous generation but few updates were needed. The i30 still doesn’t feel engaging to drive as a BMW 1-series but it never had the ambition to be a sports car. The new i30 is going to have a hybrid in its model range as well.
The estate version of the i30 is one of the pleasant surprises in the model line. Now it looks much better than its predecessor and it is still as functional. Here is a short video walk around with the 2013 Hyundai i30 Tourer.
