Sony Bravia KDL-32R420A review - today at our consumer blog we are going to take a look at another of the new Sony LED TVs. The Bravia KDL -32R420A is a 32-inch HD ready LED TV offered at a very good price.

Actually when I first saw the full specifications of the KDL -32R420A I was quite surprised to see that this is not a Full HD TV but only a 720p enabled device. That is something quite strange for me considering this is a brand new TV model line for Sony and I was expecting only the highest specs possible.

But we shouldn't be too harsh on Sony as this is quite an affordable TV and it also offers great range of useful features which make up for the lower resolution.

Desing and looks
Like most other Sony TVs the Bravia KDL-32R420A is a very good looking device, with amazing design made of high quality materials.
The LCD panel itself is surrounded by a very thin frame so it keeps a very tight dimensions for a 32-inch TV: 73.1 x 46.6 x 17.1 cm (W x H x D ) with the stand and 73.1 x 44.1 x 7.6 cm (W x H x D ) without table stand. The TV weighs a bit over 5 kg.

My overall impressions of the looks and the build quality of the Sony Bravia KDL -32R420A are very good and there is almost nothing to complain from.

Picture quality
With this model Sony didn't focus on having the most advanced technologies in this TV but rather on making it a great performing budget LED TV. And I have too say they really succeeded in their try. Sony used some of their state of the art technologies which improve picture quality and make it better than the average for a TV in this class.

The Clear Resolution EnhancerDirect LED backlighting and Motionflow XR 100Hz working all together make for the better experience and great picture quality of the KDL-32R420A.

Sound
The sound in the Sony Bravia KDL -32R420A is provided by two 8W stereo speakers which provide nice and clear sound but I think having an external surround system is a must for those who like to enjoy real cinema experience when watching sports or movies. Anyways these speakers are loud enough for daily use and you won't hear any rattles when higher tones appear.

Connectivity
Like most other Sony Bravia TV sets the KDL-32R420A is fully packed with ports and interfaces - USB (with media player), HDMI, PCMCIA, SCART and few others are available in this TV.
Unfortunately, you will not find extra features like built in Wi-Fi but that is something quite normal considering the low price tag.

Price
As I already mentioned the KDL-32R420A is one of the affordable TVs from Sony's latest model line. You can find this TV for around 400 Euro. That is definitely a good price for a quality LED panel like this one but there are plenty of other 32-inch LED TVs  which offer Full HD 1080p resolution and even Smart TV features for the same price.

Luxor TV reviews

But of course none of them will match the great looks and picture quality of the Sony Bravia KDL-32R420A.
