Volvo V40 Cross Country review - Volvo presented few new models at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and I have to say I was quite impressed with the new Volvo V40 Cross Country.

There are some obvious changes that make this capable light off-road vehicle stand out from the base V40 estate. I myself particularly liked the macho exterior styling and the compact size of the car.

The  2013 Volvo V40 Cross Country has bigger ground clearance and is offered with in front and 4x4 version as well. This combination make it better car for slippery surfaces and winter conditions but heavy off-roading is not going to work with the Volvo V40 Cross Country.

The 2013 Volvo V40 Cross Country is offered with the choice of three petrol and three diesel engines with 254hp for the most powerful 5-cylinder T5 engine. This engine is coupled to the robotised 6-speed Powershift gearbox. A 6-speed manual is offered for the less powerful engines.
