Price, features and specifications of the ZTE Blade 3.5 Android smartphone

ZTE Blade 3.5 Android smartphone
ZTE Blade review (also known as Orange San Francisco and T-Mobile Blade) -  today we are going to take a quick look at one of the cheapest fully functioning and well equipped Android smartphones.

Main features
Display - ZTE Blade has a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with 26 million colors. The display itself has resolution of 480x800 and is also supports multi-touch.

Hardware - the ZTE Blade smartphone is powered by a ARM 11 single-core processor on a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with 600MHz CPU-clock. Unfortunatelly ZTE Blade has only 256MB of RAM which is a big downside even for a very cheap smartphone. The built-in space for storage is 512MB but that is easily upgradable with additional microSD card (up to 32GB).
ZTE Blade is a 3G phone supporting GSM 900/1800 and UMTS 2100 frequencies.
Additional features
ZTE Blade has a 3.2MP camera (2048x1536 pixels max) with CMOS sensor and autofocus. Video recording and 1.6x digital zoom are also available for this phone.
Connection options
ZTE Blade 3.5 offers good variety of connectivity options including WiFi (b/g), Bluetooth (v2.1, EDR), USB  and the biggest surprise of  all... a GPS receiver wit A-GPS support.
Battery
ZTE Blade 3.5 Android smartphone comes with 1250 mAh Li-Ion battery which is good enough for  190h of stand-by time and around 4h of talk time.
Operating System
ZTE Blade smartphone comes standard with Android 2.1 Eclair operating system which is quite outdated. An upgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo is available but that would not make much of a difference.
Price
ZTE Blade 3.5 Android smartphone costs around  $140 (around £60-70 in UK) but it is offered for free with some carriers but that of course is with a contract.
Verdict
The 3.5-inch ZTE Blade smartphone doesn't offer any of the cutting edge technologies but that is not the main reason you should buy this phone. The ZTE blade is cheap but very well equipped and probably if it has just a bit more RAM (512MB lets say) it would look like a very good deal.

Sony Bravia KDL-42W650 is still not very popular around the world and the reason for that is not the lack of quality or functions which this TV is fully packed with but because of the fact that the  KDL-42W650/ KDL-42W650A is mostly going to be sold in Eastern Europe and some parts of Asia. Of course you can find this TV in other countries as well but it is still not presented in huge markets like UK and USA.

As many of you know, I spent a good amount of time with the Gen 2, and while it was a solid business machine, there were definitely a few things that needed attention. This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t. The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.
