Facial care

I've selected these moisturizers specifically for combination skin. My skin is oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and normal to dry elsewhere. It's hard to pick up your daily lotion for that type of skin, but the options I offer you do the trick perfectly.

Vichy

Daily moisturizer Aqualia Thermal light cream is a very good daily option for combination skin during colder months. The creme moisturizes and nourishes your skin during the whole day and prepares it for makeup application, if you use makeup on a daily basis.

This creme is suitable for ladies under 35 as it doesn't contain specific anti-age compounds. Also, keep in mind that it doesn't have an SPF factor so you may want to avoid it in sunny and hot months. Depending on how oily your skin tends to get, you may also use it at night and select a lighter version for the day if your skin is having a very oily day.

The thermal water was a gift when buying the set. It's light and refreshing. You can spray it on your face or body when your skin's feeling hot or irritated.

La Roche Posay

This moisturizer by La Roche Posay is suitable for oily and combination skin. It has a high SPF (30) and is suitable for hot and sunny months. The creme is lighter than Vichy's moisturizer and promises to correct your imperfections and spots.

I use both moisturizers on separate days depending on what my skin needs. If my face is getting dry, I go with Vichy. If my face is oily, I go with La Roche, as it has a slightly matte effect.

If my skin is feeling especially dry, I use Vichy's night care after I clean my skin well before getting to bed. This creme is rich and moisturizing, but if your skin is not dry it will not be absorbed well even in the morning.

La Roche Posay also gave me samples of their facial gel. I've washed my face with it a couple of times already and I'm happy with how cleat it feels without added dryness.

Body care

I bought La Roche Posay's baby body lotion for my daily body moisturizing care. The lotion is suitable for infants and adults alike. It contains to parabens or preservatives. It's hypo-allergenic and has no perfume.

I like the texture of this lotion and how well my skin absorbs it. Initially I though that the lack of odor will disturb me, but I got used to it. The lotion is overall very good and prevents skin dryness and irritation.
