Versus Touchpad 7-inch tablet review - Versus Touchpad 7 is an affordable Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet with 1.0Ghz processor, 512MB RAM and 8GB storage space.

The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display of the Versus Touchpad is bright and responsive.It has a native resolution of 800X480.
The hardware performance of the Versus Touchpad tablet is provided by the 1.0Ghz ARM Cortex A8 processor (560MHz DSP). It is a single core processor which isn't striking fast but considering the price of the tablet it is OK.
Though most new tablets come with at least 1GB of RAM the 7-inch Versus Touchpad comes with 512MB DD3 RAM.
The built-in flash memory is 8GB but you can easily expand it to 32GB with the help of additional microSD cards.
Connection options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connection, USB 2.0 and a mini HDMI 1.3.
Multimedia features include a front facing VGA camera, built-in speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery of the 7-inch Versus Touchpad will hold charge for around 4 hours of use.
As for the price of the Versus Touchpad 7, it varies around $140 (£100 in UK).

  1. lets see. It's built in china, No update ever available for the operating system (in English anyway). The boot menu is in Chinese??? if you manage to get into it manually. It's slow to run any app and crashes with too much ease. Save your money and get a Nexus 7 instead.
