Edifier X5 - comfort

Before we buy the X5 we researched lots of competitors. Until the very last moment our favorite were the realme Buds Air 2 which were about the same price and looked a bit more compact and sleek. But at the end we chose the Edifier X5 which came on a good price on sale.
Edifier X5 earbuds comfort
So, how is the comfort with the X5? Well, to be honest it is pretty good. It is not perfect but it is good. The earbuds sit solidly in the ear but feel just a bit heavier and bigger that we wished. The realme Buds Air 2 looked more compact as we mentioned but that is not the most important thing for a product like this - it is the quality of the sound that they deliver.

Edifier X5 - sound quality

The sound quality delivered Edifier X5 true wireless earphones is truly fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Honestly, we expected much more vague sound from a mid-range wireless earbuds like these. The highs, the mids and the base all sound above decent and we can truly recommend the X5 for music listening.

And with AptX™ audio decoding with a high decoding rate of 352kbps at 16bit/44.1kHz, the X5 delivers outstanding sound details and rich emotions in music.

Other thoughts
In addition, the noise cancelling system works really well and isolates external sounds almost completely. With built-in dual microphones supported by 8th generation CVC noise cancellation technology, the X5 detects loud ambient noise and provides you with crystal clear calls.

In one of our next reviews we will share more information about the battery life of the buds and how long you can expect from the docking battery to expand the battery life when on the go.
With IP55 dust and water resistance and multiple protection processes, you can freely enjoy music without worrying about rain or polluted environment.

Another very important aspect of each product that we test is durability. So, we will give it some time before we share our feedback Edifier X5 again.
