BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe revealed
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe review. Today we are going to take a closer look at the all new 4-door luxury sport coupe from BMW.
The 2-door version of the 6-series is very popular worldwide and one of the most distinctive GT cars ever. It is also a very desirable car so BMW decided to use this and created a 4-door coupe which is slightly bigger and is able to accommodate four people in comfort.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is a very dynamic vehicle. All of its turbo engines deliver a lot of power and torque for quick acceleration and maximum speed.
The wheelbase is identical to that of 5-Series - 2967 mm. The height is 1372 mm (or 90 mm less than the 5-Series), while the width is 1920 mm.
As to the total length of the model, it is 5006 mm - 51 mm or more compared to CLS.6-Series Gran Coupe has frameless windows, and to reduce the mass of the car doors and hood are made of aluminum, while the front wings and tailgate are used special plastics. In terms of what is happening under the hood there are three options. 640i has a 3-liter straight six-cylinder turbo engine with 315 hp Ministry of Education and torque of 450 Nm. It allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km / h650i uses twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with 443 hp and torque of 650 Nm. This allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds and raises again 250 km / h. Finally comes the 640d, which has a 3-liter diesel engine with 309 hp and torque of 630 Nm. While this is the most needy unit, it offers a pretty decent car dynamics. Speaking of acceleration of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

Whichever engine, it will be standard equipped with six-speed automatic transmission, although it offers a six-speed manual. Standard car has rear-wheel drive, but the option is 650i 4x4.
Expected eventually to be placed on another diesel, a hybrid version and a sportier M version. This means that one can expect a 3-liter turbo diesel with 245 hp.
A hybrid version with a 3-liter gasoline engine and electric motor with another 54 hp and twin-turbo V8 rated at 555 hp to 570 hp.

Systems Integral Active Steering, Dynamic Damper Control and Active Roll Stabilization combined perfectly to help Gran Coupe to provide sufficient quality and safe handling. Of course, this is not all. 6-Series four-can show off with ConnectedDrive, Surround View, Rear View Camera, Parking Assistant, night vision system can recognize pedestrian warning system when changing lanes, blind spot system and display the windscreen. And though not all - there are adaptive LED headlamps (with short and long LED lights, parking light and daytime running lights), each type is regulated separately by direction of the vehicle.

BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is good for driving on twisty country roads but it best suits on the highway where it is 'calm' even at very high speeds.

There are couple big rivals of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe like the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Porsche Panamera and the Audi A7 but we recon the new 6 Series Gran Coupe is going to be a huge success.
