headset review

With the unfortunate circumstances in 2020 office equipment demand grew bigger but this time for a different reason. Lots of employees needed to transition they work from office to home so new gear was needed.

Today we are reviewing a product that serves this purpose pretty well - the Logitech H650e USB headset with noise-cancellation  is just one of the gadgets one may need for better home office work.

Logitech H650e - our test

We tested the Logitech H650e almost for a week now and we have to admit they are doing pretty well for a compact work headset.

Sound quality from the two stereo drivers is on a very good level and voices sound loud and clear.

The noise-canceling mic on the other hand transmits voice without the intrusive sounds at home. This feature is very important, especially for home office workers, since there is always someone at home who will interfere with those important business calls that you might be attending.

Logitech H650e has flat non-tangle cable which looks quite durable (don't test it with cats, please). And to be honest, we have very good impressions from the overall build-quality. That said, we rate this headset as a device from the low to midrange category, so don't expect Bang & Olufsen sound quality or other premium features.

Another useful thing in the Logitech H650e is the remote on the cable which has very big buttons, unlike many of its rivals. Some of the buttons are also backlit for additional comfort of use.

Logitech H650e - our verdict

With an average price of around $60-70 we think this set is a bit overpriced. Yes, we have well-made headset that serves its purpose pretty well but still we think that there is some premium price added just for the branding.

Similar product that we recommend is the Jabra Biz 1500 USB.
