Jabra Biz 1500 USB - headset tested

We test and review the affordable professional headset Jabra Biz 1500 USB

headset test

As officially stated on the manufacturer's site Jabra Biz 1500 is a professional, durable and affordable headset. With a current MSRP of 65 Euro we wouldn't call this an affordable product in this segment but we can probably agree about the rest of the statement.

Jabra Biz 1500 USB - main product features

Here are few of the key features of the USB version of Jabra Biz 1500:

  • Noise-cancelling Air Shock microphone - reduces background noise and sharp breathing sounds.
  • Ergonomically designed frame, padded headband and super soft foam ear cushions.
                                                        Jabra Biz 1500 padding
  • Compatible on multiple platforms and devices
  • Quick buttons on the remote for mute and volume adjustment
For the couple of months that we have been using this headset it performed well. The sound is clear and usually if there were any issues they were related to bad network connection rather than with the device.

The quick mute and volume adjustment buttons are very useful, especially when multitasking and you don't want to go around menus and desktop windows in order to slightly adjust the volume.

We mostly used the Jabra Biz 1500 on MS TEAMS and ZOOM on Windows computers - no compatibility issues whatsoever.

Other thoughts

We remember one of the first versions of the Jabra Biz 1500 more than six years ago and it is still out on the market in couple of variations (mono/dual).

We could definitely say this a good headset for office work and a product that is going to last in some harsh call center environment.

As an alternative in this price range we would also recommend the Logitech H650e which we would say is a direct competitor for the Jabra Biz 1500 USB.

Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 vs. Gen 2: The Key Upgrades Review

Why the ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 Is Worth the Upgrade The Lenovo ThinkPad E16 series is designed to be the "budget titan" of the business laptop world, offering the classic ThinkPad durability without the premium price tag. In this review, we compare the latest Gen 3 model against its predecessor, the Gen 2, to see if the upgrades justify the jump. While both are solid, the Gen 3 delivers crucial quality-of-life fixes that make it the far superior option.
