If you are aware of the Samsung Galaxy A52 and A52S then the A53 will look pretty much familiar to you. Samsung A53 is almost identical to the A52S with couple of small differences. 

One of these is the missing 3.5mm headphone jack in the A53 but it compensates with slightly bigger battery. They also have different processors but that is something we will discuss at a later stage.

The A53 is a pretty decent mid-range smartphone that will suit many type of customers. It has a nice Super AMOLED display, huge 5000 mAh battery and a very good camera setup.

Our first impressions with the A53 are quite positive. It has everything needed for a modern smartphone while keeping a decent price tag. Only luxury features like super fast charging and wireless charge are missing. 
The main 64MP camera is good but far from the top models offered by Samsung. The optical stabilization works good and the AI helps a lot for getting the perfect image.

To be honest, it would be quite hard to find a decent phone from premium manufacturer with the listed features above for under $400. If you already own the A52S which is as good as the A53 5G you definitely don't need to upgrade. 

But if you haven't changed your smartphone in the last couple of years and you want fast and reliable phone with good battery, then we would definitely recommend the Samsung Galaxy A53 SM-A536B.
