HTC One X is known as the first smartphone with quad-core processor. As HTC One X is one of the most interesting and capable smartphones out there we decided to review it.

The HTC One X is an Android 4.0 smartphone with exceptional hardware features. It has a very powerful quad-core 1.5 GHz processor on Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. The HTC One X also has 1GB of RAM and ULP GeForce graphics controller.

As for the storage the HTC One X has the reasonable by any standards amount of 32GB of storage space.

The 4.7-inch Super IPS capacitive touchscreen of the HTC One X has 16M colors and 720 x 1280 pixels native resolution. It is an exceptional screen which of course supports multitouch and comes with the super durable Corning Gorilla Glass.

Talking about the connection options in the HTC One X we should definitely say this phone has it all. It is of course a 3G phone with Quadband GSM network support.

The WiFi options include 802.11 a/b/g/n connection, WiFi Direct, DLNA and WiFi hotspot. So basically the latest features from WiFi technology trends. The reception of the phone is very good and connection is strong. Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and a micro USB are also available in the One X smartphone.

HTC One X has two cameras on board. The front-facing camera is 1.3MP and is good enough for video calling and conference calls. The other camera is the one that really rocks. It's an 8.1MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. It makes great quality pictures and amazing HD (1080p@30fps) videos. It is one of the best cameras in a smartphone so far.

With all these incredible features and high-end performance the HTC One X need a really good battery and it definitely has it. The 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery should be good enough for a couple of days of moderate usage or a full day of heavy duty usage. The bad thing is that big battery has the disadvantage of adding a few more grams to the phone's overall weight of 130 grams.

The HTC One X has a big fleet of sensors on board - accelerometer, proximity, gyro and compass are all available in this amazing smartphone.

Being an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone has many advantages. All the applications available in the Android market are available at any time. This OS really shines on ultra fast phones like this one, no lags and no hesitation during multitasking.

The price of a smartphone capable as the HTC One X can be nothing else but high. The good thing is that for this one it really isn't that high. You get what you pay for - around $700 for the cutting edge technologies and one of the most powerful smartphones on the market today.

  1. HTC One X is probably the fastest phone currently on the market but not all opinions about this phone are positive. Actually HTC are still having major difficulties and their sales are lower than expected.
