Barnes & Noble introduced their main competitor to Amazon's Kindle Fire. Nook Tablet is the latest Barnes & Noble product that is very similar to Kindle Fire tablet. Its main features are:
- 16 GB of memory, extra-long battery life—yet ultra-light and thin
- Over 2.5 million books, magazines, comics & kids' books
- HD movies, TV shows and music from the top names—Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora

- Thousands of apps
- World's most advanced VividView™ 7" touchscreen
- free NOOK support in-store
It will have 1GHz TI OMAP4 (dual-core) processor with 1GB RAM
