Ematic Genesis EGL26BL tablet review

Ematic Genesis review - this cheap 7-inch Google Android 4.0 tablet probably has the biggest discount at eBay these days - 78% from $250 to $55 now (for manufacturer refurbished). I honestly don't think that this tablet even deserves a $250 price tag and I will explain why in a while.

But first lets take a look at the main features and specifications of the 7-inch Ematic Genesis.
It is powered by 1.2GHz singe-core processor and has just 512MB of RAM which is quite not enough for a modern tablet.  I would rather pay $5-10 more and get cheap tablet with at least 1GB of DDR3 RAM rather than save some money and look at my tablet struggle with every application different than calculator.

The 7-inch capacitive touch-screen display of the Ematic Genesis EGL26BL has resolution of  800x480 and will not impress you neither with vivid colors nor with pinpoint accuracy.

The space for storage in this tablet is 4GB and you can add more with additional microSD card or just use the 5GB cloud storage option that is offered with the tablet

As for the connectivity options, you can rely on WiFi and micro USB.

One of the surprising features included in the Ematic Genesis EGL26BL is the front-facing camera (many cheap tablet manufacturers just skip this part).

As you can see the Ematic Genesis has pretty average specs even for a cheap tablet and that is the reason I think it was never worth $250.

This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t. The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.

Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 vs. Gen 2: The Key Upgrades Review

Why the ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 Is Worth the Upgrade The Lenovo ThinkPad E16 series is designed to be the "budget titan" of the business laptop world, offering the classic ThinkPad durability without the premium price tag. In this review, we compare the latest Gen 3 model against its predecessor, the Gen 2, to see if the upgrades justify the jump. While both are solid, the Gen 3 delivers crucial quality-of-life fixes that make it the far superior option.
