Samsung UE39F5000 39-inch Full HD LED TV

Samsung UE39F5000 review - this 39-inch Full HD LED TV is one of the latest budget big screens from Samsung. The company focused on offering high-quality panel with less features (no Smart TV and 3D) but keeping a low price tag for those who need quality TV and want to stay on a tight budget.

Design
Samsung UE39F5000 has simple and yet elegant design with clean lines and no shiny metal parts anywhere on this TV. The panel itself is pretty thin and so is its frame. The stand is pretty stable and holds the UE39F5000 firmly on place.

Samsung UE39F5000 measures 89.56 x 53.3 x 4.94 cm and weighs around 7.5 kg (without stand). The TV can be mounted on walls with the help of VESA stand and mini VESA stand.

Features and picture quality
As I already mentioned the  UE39F5000 is not equipped with the latest technology that Samsung has to offer. It has quality LED backlit panel with 100 Clear Motion Rate. For improving the picture quality Samsung is using some pretty well known technologies like the HyperReal Engine, Wide Color Enhancer Plus and Mega Contrast.

Watching Full HD 1080p content with 1920 x 1080 resolution on this TV is a real pleasure. No ghosting and backlight bleeding effects are noticed on this screen which once again shows that this is one quality LED panel.

Sound
The sound in the Samsung UE39F5000 is provided by two quality 10W speakers with Dolby Digital Plus / Dolby Pulse, DTS Studio Sound and DTS Premium Audio support.

Connectivity
Samsung UE39F5000 has plenty of connection options on board - Component (Y / Pb / Pr), Composite (AV), 2x HDMI, RF In, USB (media player supported), Scart, CI and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung UE39F5000 also supports ConnectShare Movie (through USB).

Price
Samsung UE39F5000 is not the cheapest 39-inch Full HD LED TV on the market today but it is definitely one of the best performing and the price of 500 Euro (around £360 in UK) can be considered a fair offer.

I can also recommend you two other pretty good TVs from Samsung with similar screen size but with few functional differences - Samsung UE40F7000 which is our top choice in the segment and the budget Samsung UE40EH5000K.
