Samsung UE46F8000 TV review - when I first took a look at the full features and specifications of this TV I thought I am going to need a lot of time just to cover all of them for this review. So I decided to go compact on this one and just mention the stuff that is unique in this TV and that you will not find in many other LED TVs.


Design and looks

Samsung UE46F8000 is an exceptionally looking piece of technology. The panel is extremely thin and almost frameless, made of high quality plastics and brushed metal for the stand which is a real piece of art. Samsung UE46F8000 is not only extremely stylish looking TV but also a very compact one, it is one of the smallest and thinnest 46-inch TVs out there with dimensions of 103.27 x 59.95 x 3.49 cm and weight of 12.8 without the stand.

Smart TV features

Samsung UE46F8000 is a Smart LED TV with Smart TV 2.0 and Smart Interaction 2.0 - basically you have all the hardware and software components for any kind of communication and media playback. These include built-in WiFi adapter with WiFi Direct, Bluetooth, built-in, built-in HD webcam with voice face and motion control, media remote control (TM1390 / TM1240A). Of course all the apps from Samsung's Smart Hub are also available in this TV. All the menus are responsive and these functions operate very fast thanks to the quad-core processor which takes care for accelerating the processes.


Picture quality

Samsung UE46F8000 offers amazing images and picture quality thanks to the innovative technologies that are combined in this exceptional TV. Watching Full HD 1080p content on the Ultra Clear Panel is a real pleasure. Technologies like the Wide Color Enhancer Plus, Micro Dimming Ultimate and 1200 Clear Motion Rate take care for delivering the best picture quality in class.

3D

Samsung UE46F8000 uses active 3D technology for playback of 3D content and relies on its 3D HyperReal Engine for processing perfect 3D images. This TV also comes with two pairs of 3D glasses (2SSG-5100GB).

Connectivity

Samsung UE46F8000 has many connection options like 4x HDMI, 3x USB, RF In, Ethernet (LAN), 3.5mm headphone jack, Scart, Component video, Digital audio, CI, MHL and few others. ConnectShare Movie, Allshare and DLNA are also functions that you can use with the UE46F8000.

Price

Samsung UE46F8000 is high-end TV and it has pretty high price tag. You can find this TV in tech stores for around £1600 which is a lot of money for a TV but what a TV that is, probably the best in this class.
