Price, specifications and short review of the 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet Scroll Excel 2

Scroll Excel 2 review
Storage Options Scroll Excel 2 tablet

Storage Options Scroll Excel 2 - though this should be the new version of the well known Scroll Excel tablet, this is actually just an upgrade of the first generation of this tablet.
Scroll Excel 2 is basically a 7-inch Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with pretty basic features and specs.

Storage Options Scroll Excel 2 is powered by 1.2 GHz single-core Cortex A8 processor with Mali-400 Dual Core graphics processor and has only 512MB of DDR RAM. The space for storage is 8GB with the option of expanding it to 32GB with additional microSD card.

The 7-inch capactitive multi-touch screen of the Scroll Excel 2 has resolution of 800 x 480 which is pretty low by today's standards. There is a 0.3 MP front-facing camera on the top part of the frame.

Thankfully the connectivity options are much better than the rest of the hardware in this tablet - you can rely on fast 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth. You can also have 3G connection on this tablet with external 3G dongle. HDMI TV-Output (Mini HDMI) and 3.5 mm headphone jack are also available.

The battery of the Scroll Excel 2 is not very strong and holds charge for few hours before it needs recharging.

Scroll Excel 2 tablet dimensions: 213mm x 143mm x 13mm
Scroll Excel 2 tablet price: around £60
OS: Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system

As you can see for some £60 Storage Options Scroll Excel 2 is not that bad, definitely worth the popularity among the rest cheap Android tablets. The second version of the Scroll Excel shines with better build quality and some improved hardware and it deserves credits for keeping the low price tag.
