This affordable 15.6-inch laptop has been on the market for quite some time and Toshiba made pretty big sales from this one. That is mainly thanks to the fact that Toshiba Satellite C850 has some good hardware under the hood but also keeps a low price tag.

There are plenty of different models of the Satellite C850 depending on some variations of its hardware. We took a quick look at the budget Toshiba C850-10V with Intel Celeron D processor but I would recommend  C850 with the better performing dual-core Pentium B960. What you also get with the C850 is 4GB of DDR3 RAM (8GB on some models), 500GB HDD (750GB on higher spec deals), Bluetooth and fast b/g/n  WiFi.

The 15.6-inch LED screen of the Toshiba Satellite C850 has HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The video performance in this laptop is usually provided by shared graphics card (Intel HD graphics accelerator) which is good enough for watching HD video content and playing some games with lower hardware requirements.

The display also hosts the integrated webcam and dual microphone with noise cancellation.

Here is a short video review of the Toshiba Satellite C850 laptop so you can get better idea of what is the computer all about:

Toshiba Satellite C850 also has very good connection options including Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, Ethernet port, memory card reader, HDMI and VGA ports.

Toshiba Satellite C850 usually comes preinstalled with Windows 8 64-bit operating system which a nice feature for such an affordable laptop. Of course you also get some of Toshiba's well known laptop software also installed and ready for work right out of the box.

The battery of the Toshiba Satellite C850 laptop is definitely not its strongest points but it is not that bad as well. It holds charge for 2-3 hours of non-stop work with this computer.

As I already mentioned the price is the big selling point for Toshiba C850. In UK you can find this laptop (depending on the options) for around £250-300 which is a very competitive price for such well equipped laptop.
