The CT6 features innovative technology including a streaming video rear-view mirror, and is the first application of GM’s Super Cruise autonomous driving feature which will permit hands-off lane following, braking and speed control. The CT6 does not replace the front-wheel drive XTS but will temporarily be the new flagship model until an even larger, more luxurious sedan is due to appear before 2020. However, the CT6 will go against competitors such as the BMW 7 Series, Audi A8, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Lexus LS. Installed within the CT6 is the second generation CUE system and a 34-speaker Bose Panaray audio system.
