Disgo 7900 tablet review

Features and specs of the 10.1-inch Google Android 2.2 tablet Disgo 7900

Disgo 7900 tablet review. We have reviewed couple of the Disgo tablets so far (Disgo 7000, Disgo 8000) and they had some really nice features considering the low prices of these devices.

Disgo 7900 has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and runs on the well known Android 2.2 Gingerbread operating system. The native screen resolution is 1024x600.

The hardware performance of the Disgo 7900 tablet is provided by 1GHz single-core (iMAPx210, 1GHz, 16KB L2 Cache, 266MHZ bus clock) processor but just 256MB of RAM are available on board. That is a real disappointment considering most new tablets offer at least 512MB RAM, even the cheaper ones. Off course the high-spec tablets nowadays offer 1GB and above.
The space for storage in the Disgo 7900 tablet is 2GB but it is easily expandable up to 32GB with additional microSD card.
The manufacturer of this tablet claims it can play 1080p HD videos directly on your TV via miniHDMI port.

Disgo 7900 also has a 2.1MP camera, so Skype calls shouldn't be a problem with this one.
Connectivity options of the Disgo 7900 tablet include high-speed 802.11b/g/n WiFi connection, 2x miniUSB, miniHDMI and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Disgo 7900 tablet has a 3000mAh battery that is good enough for few hours of Internet browsing or media playback.

As a fully functioning Android 2.2 tablet plenty of apps can be downloaded from the Android market to the Disgo 7900.
The price for this affordable tablet is around £90 (in UK).
