This latest edition of LG LED TVs was released on the market few months ago and it has been a real success so far. This of course includes smaller screens like LG 42LN575S / 42LN575V, LG 42LA660S, LG 42LA640S and LG 32LN575S.
LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V has plenty of good features and specs to impress you with but the main tings that should be mentioned is that it is a Full HD 1080p Direct LED panel with maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 200Hz MCI (Motion Clarity Index). Unfortunately the 50LA620S / 50LA620V doesn't have local dimming also known as micro-pixel control which is not a bad feature for such a big screen.
LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V is passive 3D TV with 3D converter, Cinema 3D and flicker-free 3D glasses. It also offers Dual Play and 3D Sound Zooming.
LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V has a wide variety of Smart TV functions which are easily controlled with the intuitive Magic Motion remote control. Social apps, open browser, 3D World and Premium content are also available in the App store.
In case you like to use different connection options than you will be fully covered with the LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V TV. It has built-in WiFi with WiFi Direct and plenty of ports and interfaces including 3x HDMI, 3x USB 2.0, CI slot, 2x RF in, LAN, PC audio, headphone jack and few others. The only thing that I can see missing is RGB In (D-sub 15pin).
As for the sound the LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V relies on two 10W speakers with Dolby Digital, Sound Optimizer (with 3 presets), Clear Voice 2 and Virtual Surround Plus.
LG 50LA620S / 50LA620V is quite a TV for the money and I wouldn't say its price of around 1200 Euro (£1000 in UK) is high, I thinks it is the just the right price tag for this 50-inch 3D Smart LED TV TV.
