Asus X551MA is one of the very capable and yet quite affordable 15.6-inch laptops on the market. Today we are going to take a closer look at the X551MA-SX018H model which has been on sale for the last couple of weeks - you can find in the eBay UK daily deals section for less than £250.

Of course in order to keep the price at this extremely low level Asus skipped some of the good hardware and used some pretty basic one. This machine is powered by a 1.86 GHz Intel Celeron N2815 Dual Core processor which is one of the cheapest in the segment but is still fast enough for daily tasks like browsing the web, watching HD videos and editing documents.

The 15.6-inch display of the laptop has the Asus' Splendid Technology which improves the overall visual experience on this computer.

As you can see from this short review the Asus X551MA doesn't have any outstanding features. It is meant to be simple and cheap and I thinks that exactly what this laptop is - affordable mobile computer that will cover all your daily computer needs. If you are looking for more powerful advance laptop or a gaming laptop you should definitely look elsewhere.


Another very interesting cheap laptop from this model line that you should check is the Asus X55V.
