2015 Volvo XC90 - SUV video review

Video review of the all new 2015 Volvo XC90 SUV

2015 Volvo XC90 reviewFor 2015 the Swedish car manufacturer Volvo decided to give a full redesign inside and out for its biggest SUV the XC90. Actually this vehicle is build on entirely new platform which will be use for other cars of its new model line up.
In today's video review we will take a closer look at its exterior looks, interior features and how it performs on the road.

First impressions

My initial impressions when I first saw the new 2015 XC90 is that it looks quite modern but also bigger and more settled. It definitely has lower clearance and I would strongly doubt that it was meant for strong off-roading when designed by the Swedish engineers. Actually I think the new Volvo SUV will now compete more with vehicles like the Audi Q7 and BMW X5 rather than with proven off-roaders like the VW Touareg.

Interior

Probably the first thing that will grab your attention when getting in the new XC90 would be the enormous display in the middle console through which the driver can operate with some of the important controls like setting the climate, using the audio/video features, changing car specs, navigation and many others.

Other than that the interior of the 2015 Volvo XC90 is very well crafted and typically Swedish looks quite plush and Scandinavian and that's thank's to the fine materials that are used to make it.

Performance

The 2015 Volvo XC90 is not a performance oriented vehicle and that is easily recognizable by the way its engine, transmission and suspension behave. The big SUV is now more of a luxury cruiser with improved fuel economy and a bit sluggish gearbox.
