Panasonic VIERA TX-49DX650B TV

Panasonic VIERA TX-49DX650B - our customer review
The DX600 series is a middle-class TV from Panasonic's 2016 range of 4K TVs. This DX600 range is very like the DX700, but a bit cheaper and without HDR features. It offers up to four times more detail than Full HD TVs, HEVC and VP9 decoders, which allow streaming 4K content from Netflix, YouTube etc.

Panasonic is the only TV manufacturer to use Mozilla's Firefox OS, which is simple, clean and looks like a phone interface. Firefox OS on smart TVs is all about customization, with constant opportunities to 'pin' anything to that main home screen.

Powered by a quad-core processor, the 49DX650B offers a range of Smart TV options – catch up TV, streaming services, and social media, as well as further apps through the Panasonic app store. Using Mozilla Firefox as its operating system, the TV also offers a full web browser thanks to built-in WiFi.

Apps can also be organized to appear as strip around the edge of the screen, allowing you to continue watching TV whilst checking recommendations from the TV as to what to watch later.

Design

The included adjustable pedestal stand has feet which can be positioned per your preference, allowing to fit the TV on a specific piece of furniture. It is also possible to wall mount the TV (kit sold separately). The frame around the screen is clear plastic over a silver bezel.

Picture quality

Apart from the lack of HDR features, the DX600 is a capable TV that justifies its price. The images are clean and detailed and the excellent motion resolution keeps 4K looking sharp bot with sport as with movies.

This model's picture is supplied by an IPS panel rather than the VA kind found in the 40-inch model and so picture quality is not as good in both contrast ratio and viewing angle.

Overall, this TV supplies good picture quality, great Mozilla OS and is right for its money. There is more to be expected from the contrast ratio, viewing angle and image sharpness, however the price is indeed in the low range which makes up for any drawbacks.

Sony Bravia KDL-42W650 is still not very popular around the world and the reason for that is not the lack of quality or functions which this TV is fully packed with but because of the fact that the  KDL-42W650/ KDL-42W650A is mostly going to be sold in Eastern Europe and some parts of Asia. Of course you can find this TV in other countries as well but it is still not presented in huge markets like UK and USA.

Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 First Look Review: Did They Fix the Flaws?

Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3: Flaw Fixed, Efficiency Gained Hey everyone, and welcome back! I was excited to finally get my hands on the third generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 . As many of you know, I spent a good amount of time with the Gen 2, and while it was a solid business machine, there were definitely a few things that needed attention. This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t. The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.
