First look at the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS

Presenting the all new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS (dual SIM)

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) promises to be a successful continuation of the popular J-series that made huge impact on the smartphone market in the last couple of years. The next generation 2018 J7 will be offered in two dual and single sim versions - SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS. One of the major differences consumers will find in the new model will be the larger 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display (compared to the 5.5 inch in the current J7 2017).

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS should be officially released in April

Design and Looks

The fact that there are so many rumors around the release of the J7 (2018) means that this model got really important in the recent years. I am not sure how much it contributes from Samsung's overall smartphone sales but I would guess the number is high.

The design and build quality of the 2017 J7 were really impressive. The unibody design using metal for the whole device but the display was appreciated by most most consumers. I personally used for almost a year the J5 (2017) which has the same design features as the J7 and it also felt high-quality and premium, people always got it mistaken for much more expensive smartphone.
For the 2018 edition Samsung will keep the same trend with the J7. We will see dedicated operating buttons at the bottom front part under the 5.6 inch Super AMOLED screen.

On the back side of the phone we will see the biggest change for the new model - dual-camera with flash. This feature is a first in a J-series smartphone which will attract more buyers, especially those who care about the quality of their photos.

That is all we can comment about the looks of the new device. Soon we will update you with more details about the exact dimensions.

Release Date

The J7 (2018) with code name SM-J720F was already certified by FCC (Federal Communications Commission). This means the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS will hit the stores very soon and we expect too see it for sale in May.

Price

The J7 (2018) would be priced around $350. Price may vary on different markets, since this phone is sold globally.

Please let us know what you think about this new smartphone and stay tuned for more information, specifications and full review of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018).

Thank you, very hard to find such an inclusive review of the new J7 2018. Personally I find that the new camera and 32 GB of memory will be the best introductions in the new model. The design is pretty similar, although I like the remodeled design of the back panel of the phone - looks cooler in the 2018 model! A shame that they still go with the audio jack at the bottom, I was hoping that will change in the future generations....
