Opel Corsa - 3 reasons to buy in 2020

The new 2020 Opel Corsa is a great car and here is why we think it is a great purchase

2020 Opel Corsa

We first saw the all new Opel Corsa last year at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. From the very first look we could tell this car was something different from what we have seen so far from the German manufacturer.

The reason behind is the fact that the new 2020 Corsa is build on Peugeot platform. As you probably know Opel joined PSA recently so such step was quite expected.

But here is what we liked in the new Corsa and why we believe it is a great car to buy in 2020:

Design and Looks
The 2020 Corsa has grown up but it is still a compact car that suits the busy city streets best. Again the format is 2 and 5-door hatchback with adequate for the class boot capacity. We would say the exterior design is conservative and yet modern.

Interior
The interior is mostly functional and some would say it is a bit plain or even dull. We think it is smart and functional for the most of its part and we honestly like it.

Engines
The main focus here would be on the new petrol engines with small displacement and turbos. The star of the show is the all new entirely electrical power-plant.

So to sum it up, the top 3 main reasons to purchase a brand new 2020 Opel Corsa are:
  • It sits on a brand new PSA platform that promises to deliver next generation tech
  • Good design aligned with proper city car practicality (very well equipped as well, with some models fully packed with extras)
  • Wide range of eco-friendly engines, including an electrical one

2020 Opel Corsa - price
Price information varies depending on your location. Since the main markets for the new Corsa would be UK and Europe we would give you an average estimate of 12 to 14 000 Euro for a mid-spec Corsa.
