One month with the Razer DeathAdder Essential

Razer DeathAdder Essential - consumer opinion after one month of use

Razer DeathAdder Essential mouse

Prior buying the Razer DeathAdder Essential a month ago I wasn't sure if I need yet another PC mouse. But with so many laptops and PCs around me I decided it would be a good addition and a valuable tool in the long run. And I was not wrong...

Today I will share my personal thoughts and opinion about the budget entry-level mouse Razer DeathAdder Essential so you can decide easier if you need one or not.

One month with the Razer DeathAdder Essential

From the very first moment I unboxed this mouse I was impressed with the good build-quality and the overall nice, sturdy feel from a well-made product. To be honest I expected cheaper feeling plastics since this is the entry model from Razer's mouse model range. But that is not the case - the mouse already took few hard hits falling from my desk but it remained as new.  Well, you won't find any soft padding materials around but still it is quite nice to the touch.

Razer DeathAdder Essential

The Razer DeathAdder Essential together with the wireless Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed became my daily choice for work mouse. Unfortunately, at least one old mouse had to drop off and that was the Trust GXT 161 Disan which feels cheaper and it already has some faults.

Functionally the DeathAdder Essential performs just fine, I am very satisfied with its technical characteristics, nothing to complain from.

Final thoughts

I really like the Razer DeathAdder Essential, it is a very solid budget mouse, one of the best in this price segment. Of course I will give it some more time and share additional feedback and impressions in couple of months time.
