ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO - good enough for 2022?

Is the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO graphics card good enough performer for next year - our opinion

ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO is the graphics card that we have been using for almost a year now and we have no major complaints from this product. Considering its affordable price the RX 5500 XT EVO performs on a good level for our daily tasks like photo and video editing.

Good enough graphics card for 2022?

Most of you probably know that in the last couple of months or probably even a year the demand for graphics cards is huge and  sometimes supplies are limited and delayed for many weeks. Prices also went up.

I would say we got lucky for getting this card back then for about $350. And even though it is an older model it is still for sale in some computers stores.

But now to the question, is it good enough for 2022 graphics card? Well, to us it is, for the task it manages to do well and with the constant product updates it is just on par with the requirements we have.

Utilizing it for Full HD and 4k video edits still makes sense for us since the performance and speed are on a very good level.

No gamers in the office here but still I believe the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO is good enough for most mainstream games played on medium settings. Unfortunately, I am not able to comment if this video card is good enough for proper streaming and how it would manage such activity.

So the simple answer for this post is Yes, we believe the Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO is still good enough for to be an adequate graphics card in 2022.
