These days we noticed that the ASUS VivoBook K553EA laptop is offered for a very decent price of under £500 as a refurbished item. The deal that we found on eBay is for certified refurbished which means  you are getting one year warranty. It is part of the VivoBook series, which is designed to be a budget-friendly option for everyday use.

We have previously shared our opinion about buying refurbished products and we believe this is not only budget friendly solution but also an environmental one and we do care about the environment.

To summarize what we see in the table above: VivoBook K553EA has fast Intel processor, good memory size of 16GB, good storage size and speed with the 512GB SSD, adequate display and graphics. 
Really a nice setup and a versatile machine that would do fine for multimedia, casual photo editing, office work, Internet browsing.
This laptop is designed for basic use such as web browsing, document editing and streaming media. 
Overall, the ASUS VivoBook K553EA is a budget-friendly laptop that is suitable for basic everyday use, but it is not designed for heavy multitasking or gaming.

This laptop reminded me of the Asus X55V which got quite popular back in the days, with similar price and being versatile mobile computer.
