It has been almost two years since we first tested the Sony 43XG7005 and it is still our favorite 43-inch 4k Smart TV. And even though it is not available in tech stores anymore, it is highly likely you can find it second hand or refurbished at a good price.

And yes, there are many new models by Sony in this size and prize segment but when we got the 43XG7005 for under $500 it was really quite a deal, especially when considering the fact that this is a 4k Smart TV with Triluminos technology.

The best thing about the Sony 43XG7005 is that it is really the complete package - there is no weak point that truly ruins the experience of watching quality picture on your TV. 

Well, we could say that the Smart TV functions could be improved, especially the process with connecting to wireless network and such but that is something that one gets used to with time.
Also, the Sony RMT-TX300e remote control that comes with this TV is quite outdated and not the best option for a modern Smart TV.
 
Other than that, the 43XG7005 offers amazing image quality, has good sound even without external sound system and is probably going to last for many ears like our other two Sony televisions (Sony Bravia KDL 40WD650 and Sony KDL-32EX650).
