We got a new Salter non-stick frying pan and it is pretty good

Salter non-stick frying pan review

Last week we bought a new non-stick frying pan for our cooking needs and decided to share first impressions with you. It is from the brand Salter and it is the first thing we buy from this brand. Here is the little that we know about them:

Salter kitchen products

Salter is a well-known brand that produces a variety of kitchen products, including frying pans. They are a British company with a history dating back to the late 18th century and are recognized for their expertise in manufacturing kitchenware.

Salter frying pans are typically made from various materials, such as stainless steel, aluminum, or ceramic non-stick coatings.
The brand offers a wide range of sizes and designs to suit different cooking needs. Some of their pans may feature innovative technologies, such as heat-responsive surfaces or induction-compatible bases.

Our first test

Our first test with the new 28 cm Salter non-stick frying pan was quick. I wanted to cook some scrambled eggs with vegetables - basically I put some chopped vegetables in the pan, fry them for couple of minutes and then I add the eggs. I didn't put any oil at all just to test the non-sticking coating of the pan. And I have to admit that the Salter pan did its job pretty well and I cooked the meal without any issues.

Cleaning the frying pan was also easy and quick thanks to the fact that nothing was stuck after the meal was ready and served.

And here is our short video review after the first meal was done:

Verdict

First impressions from the Salter non-stick frying pan are pretty good, especially for the price of under $20. It is kind of heavy but that makes it solid while cooking.
The non-stick coating seems to be doing a good job so far but we will see how it performs after a while.

As many of you know, I spent a good amount of time with the Gen 2, and while it was a solid business machine, there were definitely a few things that needed attention. This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t.
