FujiFilm FinePix S4600 test video

As you can see the video quality isn't particularly good, especially when zooming in and out the image gets out of focus and the FinePix S4600 is struggling to get back into focus. But of course this is a sub-  £100 and wouldn't be fair to expect the highest quality around.

If you are interested in FujiFilm cameras then I will recommend you to check the FujiFilm Finepix JV210 and the FujiFilm Finepix JX580.

FujiFilm FinePix JZ200 compact digital camera deal

FujiFilm FinePix JZ200 compact digital camera price and specifications

When I saw this camera deal for the compact FujiFilm FinePix JZ200 I decided it should be shared in our Test and Review blog. We have reviewed plenty of other FujiFilm cameras and most of them offered average performance but unbeatable prices.

Here it is the same case - the ultra-thin FinePix JZ200 is offered for just £50 which is a very low price for 16MP digital camera.

And the FujiFilm FinePix JZ200 is really not that bad. It has some very good features and specs like the large 2.7-inch LCD display, massive (for such thin camera) 8x optical zoom, 25 mm wide angle lens and nice Panorama Mode.

Another great feature of the FinePix JZ200 is the HD 720p movie mode which allows you to record videos in HD resolution of 1280 x 720.

FujiFilm FinePix JZ200 also has very compact dimensions measuring 2.4x5.6x10 cm and has weight of around 118g.

Actually the FinePix JZ200 is quite similar to the FujiFilm Finepix JX200 which was also offered with big discount in UK.

And if you are in the search of nice cheap camera than you should definitely check the rest of our camera reviews.

Honestly I haven't seen such specs in any other digital camera especially with compact size like the Galaxy GC100.

And here is unboxing video and short video review of the Samsung Galaxy GC100 EK-GC100ZKABTU camera:

We can't say that the Samsung Galaxy GC100 EK-GC100ZKABTU is an expensive camera, especially with all this technology under the hood. With a price tag of around 500 Euro (£400 in UK) it is not cheap as well. Considering there is not much competition in this segment it is not a surprise that the Galaxy GC100 is one of the current best sellers in the premium compact digital camera segment.

Many users like myself wouldn't bother spending so much money on non-DSLR camera and will keep on using what they currently have in hand (Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX9V in my case) because still many of us are not convinced we need Android OS for our compact digital cameras.

Samsung ST68 review
Samsung ST68 compact digital camera

It is amazing how much better compact digital cameras became in last few years and how cheap they are these days. Samsung is one of the brands that really improved the quality of its compact digital cameras and kept the low price. One typical example which is result for thus good practice is the Samsung ST68 which is a very capable 16MP compact digital camera.

Features, specifications and video review of the compact digital camera Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W610

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 compact digital camera
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 digital camera

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 is a cheap 14.1 MP compact digital camera with 4x optical zoom. DSC-W610 got popular mainly because of its price but it also delivers quite good images. That is thanks to the quality CCD sensor and the 26mm wide angle lens which allow you to take perfect landscape shots.
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 has 6 shooting modes and 10 scene selectors. In Intelligent Auto Mode the compact camera recognizes a wide range of common shooting situations and therefore uses optimal settings for the best possible quality. One nice feature in the Cyber-Shot DSC-W610 is the 360 Sweep Panorama mode for all-around view shots. On the back of the DSC-W610 you can find a 2.7-inch LCD display (230k dots) which is the only viewfinder in this camera, of course optical viewfinders are not something typical for cameras in this class.

Canon PowerShot S110 compact digital camera review
Canon PowerShot S110 review - Canon PowerShot S110 is a high-end compact digital camera with 12.1-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom and Full HD video recording capabilities.
The PowerShot S110 is equipped with some of the latest Canon technologies with improved stabilization, better high-speed autofocus and some useful manual controls.
I will not go too deep in details about all the shooting modes that the S110 has but I have to mention the Multi-Aspect Ratio RAW and ISO 12800 which give this camera a bit more professional performance than the average compact camera.
In most occasions you will use the Canon PowerShot S110 with its Smart Auto mode which combined with the high-speed AF will do the job just fine. Of course you can override some settings thanks to the easy use of the manual control ring.
On the back of the Canon PowerShot S110 you can find the gorgeous 3.0-inch LCD touchscreen display which is the only viewfinder in this camera (no optical viewfinder).
Another very nice feature of the Canon PowerShot S110 camera is the built-in WiFi which allows easy and fast wireless connection to other WiFi enabled devices. This can be very practical for many users.
Here is an unboxing video and hands-on review of the capable Canon PowerShot S110.

Sony DSC-HX9V zoom test

A test video with the Sony DSC-HX9V - zoom in/zoom out

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX9VSony DSC-HX9V zoom test - video. One of the good features of the compact digital camera Sony DSC-HX9V is that you can use the huge 16x optical zoom while making a movie. The picture is stable while zooming in and out and the overall quality is very good. Of course that is thanks to the perfect optical stabilisation and Sony's Exmor R CMOS sensor.
Here is the Sony DSC-HX9V review, including all the features and specs of this incredible camera as well as a full video review.

Sony DSC-HX9V zoom test - video

And here is the full Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX10V review. This is the upgraded new version and actually the successor of the Cyber-Shot DSC-HX9V. One of the differences is that the new model has 18.2 million effective pixels rather that 16.2 million in the DSC-HX9V.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX10V also has better maximum light sensitivity at 12,800 ISO vs 3,200 ISO in the Cyber-Shot DSC-HX9V. The rest of the features and specs are pretty much the same, of course the DSC-HX10V is a bit more expensive as it is a newer model but many camera critics claim Cyber-Shot DSC-HX9V does the job just as well for a much lower price.

Nikon COOLPIX S8200 reviewFeatures and specs of the Nikon COOLPIX S8200 digital camera

Nikon COOLPIX S8200 review. Catch those summer evening shots around the bonfire, or freeze the action of the winning goal. Fast, responsive and boasting an incredible 14x optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens, the Nikon COOLPIX S8200 will help you capture images you may previously have missed. Its 16.1-MP CMOS sensor crisply renders your view of the world—whether low light, far off fast action or sweeping panoramas. Capture sharp, clear photos and Full HD (1080p) movies using Nikon's incredible optics. Spice up stills and movies with special effects, and view everything on a 3-inch, ultra-high resolution (921,000 dot) display.

If your old camera never quite captured the moment, the S8200 will! It boasts a high-resolution, 16.1-MP CMOS sensor so you get superb image quality—even in low light. With fast, versatile, continuous shooting modes, you can capture those spontaneous moments shot after shot. Then show family and friends your movies and still creations on the 3-inch ultra-high resolution (921,000 dot) display. Stylish and compact, the S8200 tucks into a pocket but packs brilliant performance and advanced features.

Despite a slim profile of approximately 1.3-inches, the S8200 delivers amazing versatility with an incredible 14x zoom (25mm to 350mm equivalent). Imagine creating macro images of a bumblebee in a spring flower, then zooming out to frame a mountain range for a panorama. With the S8200, you can go from wide-angle to telephoto to macro/close-up views in an instant, preserving photos or movies of most everything from grandstand crowds to a stage performer's smile.
A single photo may not always be enough to recreate the moment; sometimes memories are best shared with a movie. Portable and ready when important things happen, the COOLPIX S8200 lets you create stunning Full HD (1080p) movies with stereo sound at the touch of a button. You'll love its ability to zoom in and out at will—while keeping subjects in focus. Stylize your story with one of various special effects or by recording in 15, 60 or 120 fps for fast/motion effects. Life doesn't stand still; neither should your memories.

Maybe you've wanted to create panoramic photos but thought they were too difficult. Maybe you've tried shooting photos at night but they never turn out. The S8200 takes the guesswork out of shots like these and more with handy Scene Modes at the ready. For sweeping panoramas, simply pan the camera and let it detect and automatically combine images to build a gorgeous vista. Going out at night? The S8200 takes great low-light photos. You can even create amazing HDR shots in-camera. The S8200 does the work.

Let the artist in you go from ordinary to extraordinary! With a variety of in-camera effects, such as Low Key, High Key, Hard Monochrome, Nostalgia Sepia or Selective Color, your world takes on a new dimension. The S8200 provides you the tools to fashion photos and movies with more than just your great eye—just select an effect and go! For your still photography, bring out your creative side with a fisheye, miniature or even an artistic look. Finally, you can make the kinds of photos and movies you've always wanted to make.

You'll never miss a shot with the S8200 because it starts right up, has a quick autofocus and shoots five shots in approximately one second at full resolution.
You'll always get a great shot with Nikon Best Shot Selector. Press the shutter once, and the S8200 takes up to ten shots and then selects and saves only the sharpest image.
