Hello dear readers and welcome back to our product review blog. Today I will share my impressions with one of our latest kitchen appliances that we bought prior to moving in our new apartment - the 23 liter ceramic microwave oven Samsung MS23F301TAS. My main drivers when choosing this oven were:
  • Very good looking - chrome/inox combined with dark glass and plastics, stylish and yet functional
  • Got it cheap - Under $100
  • The brand - Samsung are doing very well with their kitchen appliances recently
  • Compact - you can fit 3 cups or 2 bowls or 2 small plates inside yet the oven is not too big overall and fits well in our small kitchen
We've been using this microwave oven for 2 months and our impressions so far are good. If there's a drawback to this oven, it's the initially confusing menu which can get you wondering on how to use it at first. However, after some time you get used to it. Currently we have no issues using all of the oven's functionalities.

You can select between 6 different power levels, as well as option to unfreeze and to grill. You can either manually swipe button to the correct time you need for your food to warm, or press the quick add button which will give you + 30 sec. So far we've mainly used this microwave oven to warm food and prepare hot water for drinks.

However, it can also be used to make a quick sandwich using the grill function or to melt cheese, butter or chocolate if you need. In some of the reviews we've viewed before purchasing the oven, some people also claim to use it for cooking, but I have not yet tried to make a whole meal in it.

The inside coating of this microwave oven is ceramic, which is said to be anti-bacterial, or at least Samsung's official specifications of this oven claim so. Anti-bacterial or not, the important part is that it's fairly easy to clean and you will rarely need to treat it with anything else but a clean towel to just wipe off any food residue.

One of the things I really like in this oven is that you don't open the door with a button, instead you have a sleek metal handle which you pull gently to open the door. The reason I like it so much is that on older microwave ovens I've used it takes only a couple of weeks of regular use for the button to start jamming, after which you will have trouble opening the microwave. Fortunately, Samsung have prevented this by opting to put a handle instead.

We'll do some more cooking with the Samsung MS23F301TAS microwave oven and share more impressions about its performance and features.

I don't really get it, I really don't. I wrote this real consumer review a year ago for consumers like you but Google prefers to return spam results and fake reviews instead of a genuine microwave review. Internet turned into horrible and disgusting place for honest people that do not spend billions of dollars for spam advertising. I am really sorry for you guys, my readers who are reading all the ridiculous paid reviews that you need to read in the paid results of most search engines but that is just the way it is these days.

For those of you who managed to find and read my honest consumer Samsung MS23F301TAS review, feel free to drop me a message in the comment form below. A year later we are still using this microwave oven and I have to admit we are quite pleased with it.
