My followers probably know that I have reviewed plenty of interesting PC monitors, from very budget ones to cutting edge panels that cost thousands of dollars. Today, at my consumer blog I will be taking a closer look at a mid-range device from LG, offering new technology in the face of 4k IPS panels while maintaining a decent price tag of under $300. So, without further ado, here is my consumer review of the 27-inch 4k IPS monitor LG 27UD59-B:

Design and Looks
I really like the looks of the 27UD59-B monitor. It looks modern but at the same time simple and elegant, which is mainly thanks to the weirdly shaped silver stand. The frame of it could have been much thinner and I am sure there will be consumers who will definitely complain here. I personally don't mind how thick it really is, but yes, it could have been thinner.

The overall quality is good, not premium, but we can't really expect premium materials and build quality at this price point.

LG 34UM68 - big screen professional monitor review

Features
The size of 27 inches, combined with the high 4k Ultra HD resolution on an IPS matrix seems like the perfect combination for a gamer. But if we look closely into the specs we will find out that the brightness of  250 cd/m² and with response time of up to 5 ms will push away many professional gamers.

I personally think the LG 27UD59-B is a great multimedia monitor, good fit for office work and Internet browsing as well. I am far from being an expert in gaming (and I truly don't want to be) but I am sure it will do a very decent job for most of the graphics consuming products that are released these days.

Price
While checking the online stores I noticed the price of this monitor varies a lot. One of the good deals that I found was at Amazon, asking price of just $260. I think that is a super decent price, considering the 27UD59-B is a premium brand monitor with good set of features and specifications.

Sony Bravia KDL-42W650 is still not very popular around the world and the reason for that is not the lack of quality or functions which this TV is fully packed with but because of the fact that the  KDL-42W650/ KDL-42W650A is mostly going to be sold in Eastern Europe and some parts of Asia. Of course you can find this TV in other countries as well but it is still not presented in huge markets like UK and USA.

As many of you know, I spent a good amount of time with the Gen 2, and while it was a solid business machine, there were definitely a few things that needed attention. This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t. The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.
