Today we are reviewing a very nice IPS display which is also budget oriented - the HP EliteDisplay E243i.
This basically is a 24-inch 16:10 WUXGA (1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz) display with anti-glare coating. All these specs mean one thing for us - this is almost the perfect office monitor.

You can position the EliteDisplay E243i horizontally as well as vertically so it is quite a versatile stand. The angle of the panel is also adjustable while you can also rotate it without moving the base of the stand. Nice job here HP!

In regards to the ports, the HP EliteDisplay E243i is also quite versatile - we have HDMI, VGA, display port and 3x USB ports.

As you can see from the specs, this is one very adequately equipped IPS monitor. It is also not that expensive. And how much does it exactly cost...

One of the competitors for the EliteDisplay E243i might be the Dell E2314H monitor which we used for couple of years. Well it is a bit cheaper and has lower resolution but still a very good fit for a budget office monitor.
