Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed battery change

In today's "How to" series we will take a look at the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed mouse and how to change/replace its battery. That is something that is quite easy and will take you literally less than a minute or two. Still we decided that it might be useful for some consumers to see how this is done and hopefully not break anything from the mouse while doing it.

Replacing Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed battery - basic instructions

  1. Take the mouse and pop up the front "hood" by pushing it up with a finger (see the video)
  2. Place a finger on the battery and try to take it out by pulling it up. If this doesn't work, place the mouse downwards and hit it gently with your other hand aiming for the battery to fall.
  3. Put the new battery in (make sure to put it in the right direction (+ is on the outer part).
  4. Put the front panel back by pushing it gently until it clicks into place.
