DJI Mavic Air 2 and Panasonic Lumix S5 - photographers and videographers will really appreciate this combo on weekend trips to beautiful destinations
Today we want to share our impressions with tow of our perfect photo and video companions when traveling to beautiful weekend destinations - the DJI Mavic Air 2 drone and the full-frame mirrorless camera Panasonic Lumix S5.
These two seem to be an awesome combo for landscape photography and for capturing beautiful moments in the nature.
Weekend shots with the Air 2 and the S5
We have used the Mavic Air 2 for almost 2 years now and it is still one of the best value for money drones that you can buy new or second hand.
The Lumix S5 on the other hand is much newer, we have it for about 6 months and it is also an amazing hybrid camera for photo and video.
In the last couple of months we have used these two multiple times, recording panoramic drone videos of rocks, woods, castles and other buildings. We have tons of images and video from the famous Belogradchik rocks which looked awesome with the rich autumn colors. Here are some nice weekend images taken with the S5:
These are unedited images, JPEGs straight out of the camera. One thing that really impressed us here is the beautiful color science of the S5 when shooting nature photos in good day light.

The great thing about this combo of drone and full-frame camera is that covers almost any angle or point of view that you may be interested in. Also these two devices have variety of modes on board, which allows you to capture the moment in the best possible way you desire.
Now lets check some images from the Mavic Air 2:
As you can see the weather was pretty foggy when we flew the Air 2 over the Belogradchik rocks but still it managed to take good photos. Again, these are unedited images.

Both the drone and the camera have good battery life which is another nice thing when using electronics on the go. We don't have any spare batteries for neither of them but never run into situation when we needed more battery life for neither of them (except for those cases when we forgot to charge them).
