One year with the Seasonic Focus GX-550 PSU

Consumer feedback for the gold certified power supply Seasonic Focus GX-550

It has been almost a year since I have built my last desktop configuration for which I used the gold certified modular power supply Seasonic Focus GX-550. So, today I want to give my honest opinion and consumer feedback for this product in few words.

One of the most important aspects while I was researching power supplies last year was to be stable and to ensure reliability in the long run rather than peak numbers for the maximum provided power. Also being a fully modular PSU was not a must for me but a nice benefit when paying almost premium price for high-quality product. 

During this year the Seasonic Focus GX-550 worked flawlessly and ensured smooth and steady work for the Ryzen 3 processor and the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 5500 XT EVO video card.

The PSU is completely silent and fitted just fine in the Phanteks Eclipse P300A case. 

To be honest, if there are not much to say about the PSU of the computer you are using, that means that it is a good PSU. Actually I never had any kind of issues with the Seasonic Focus GX-550 so I believe the previous statement is valid for me as well.
