Rivacase 7450 messenger bag - the best under $50

Rivacase 7450 messenger bag - 2021 test and consumer feedback

Rivacase 7450 2021 test

We have been using the Rivacase 7450 messenger bag for more than two years now and it has been a good companion for our photography and videography gear.

After a thorough inspection this week we came to the conclusion that the bag is still in like new condition even though it was carried around to many locations and had to survive in different conditions.

Two years with the Rivacase 7450 messenger camera bag - our feedback

Initially we bought the Rivacase 7450 to carry around our MFT Panasonic Lumix GX9 camera which has a smaller form factor and the bag was big enough for additional lens, mics and other accessories.

Later on we bought the DJI Mavic Air 2 drone but without the Fly more combo which comes with a bag. So it was another task for the Rivacase messenger bag - to fit a relatively compact drone and its remote control. Surprisingly the bag did very well with that task as well and we actually still carry the Air 2 with it.

And in the beginning of 2021 we fell in love with the Panasonic Lumix S5 full frame mirrorless camera and after we bought it with the 20-60 kit lens it was again hosted in the Rivacase 7450 (the GX9 was already sold).

So currently our lovely messenger bag is used to carry the S5 camera with kit lens and the Mavic Air 2 drone. The front pocket we usually use for accessories like memory cards and cables and also the Olympus LS-P4 voice recorder which is very compact. With this setup the bag is completely full and cannot take more stuff whatsoever.

Things we love about the Rivacase 7450:

  • Quality made product that is going to last
  • Versatile - used for multiple devices and purposes
  • Comfortable to carry around
  • Affordable

We are also very pleased with the quality of the bag. It literally looks like it was never used. For a bag that comes under $50 that is a huge compliment and we have the feeling that impression would remain if we test more Rivacase products in the future.

Rivacase 7450 camera bag - our initial review

We will still be using the Rivacase 7450 messenger bag in 2022 and we hope it will serve us well, just like it did in the past two years.

The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.
