Our beautiful 2016 Opel Insignia facelift

I have driven the 1.6 CDTI 136 HP 2016 Opel Insignia for over 40000km so I decided it is time for proper consumer review of this beautiful vehicle.

When you're in the market for a second-hand car that seamlessly blends style, performance, and practicality, the 2016 Opel Insignia 1.6 CDTI with its 136 horsepower engine is a standout choice. This silver hatchback not only exudes timeless appeal but also offers modern features that enhance your driving experience. Join me on a journey through this automotive gem.

Exterior and Design: The Opel Insignia's silver exterior is a sight to behold. Its design strikes a harmonious balance between elegance and sportiness. The bold grille and distinct lines give it an aura of sophistication that has aged like fine wine. Complementing this allure are the LED daytime running lights, which infuse a touch of contemporary flair, ensuring that it looks as striking today as it did in 2016.

Interior Comfort: Stepping inside the Insignia, you're welcomed into a spacious cabin designed for your comfort. Whether you're in the front seats or the rear, there's generous legroom to accommodate all passengers. The dashboard's ergonomic layout places controls within easy reach, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel feels luxurious in your hands. The seats provide exceptional support, making long drives a pleasure.

Infotainment and Technology: The Insignia's tech offerings are equally impressive. Its 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is user-friendly and comes loaded with features, including Android Auto integration for seamless smartphone connectivity. This feature alone ensures that you stay connected and entertained while on the road. Plus, the car's intelligent cruise control and parking assist systems add a layer of convenience, making it suitable for urban and highway driving alike.
Overall, we like the infotainment system quite a lot and I would say it is one of the best in class for 2016:

Performance: Beneath the hood lies a 1.6-liter CDTI engine boasting 136 horsepower. It's paired with a smooth 6-speed automatic gearbox that elevates the driving experience. This combination offers not only solid performance but also commendable fuel efficiency. Whether navigating city streets or winding country roads, the Insignia's responsive steering and transmission make every drive enjoyable.
And here is how the engine sounds at 230000 km:

Fuel Efficiency: In addition to its performance prowess, the Insignia boasts impressive fuel efficiency, thanks to its efficient diesel engine. On long highway journeys, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the range it delivers on a single tank of fuel. It's an eco-conscious choice without compromising on power.

Safety: Safety is paramount, and the Opel Insignia takes this seriously. It's equipped with features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and a comprehensive array of airbags, ensuring you're well-protected on the road.

To sum it up, the 2016 Opel Insignia 1.6 CDTI 136 HP is a second-hand marvel that seamlessly combines style, performance, and practicality. Its enduring design, comfortable interior, and advanced technology, including Android Auto integration, make it a joy to own and drive. Whether you're tackling daily commutes or embarking on road trip adventures, this silver hatchback delivers on all fronts.
If you're seeking a reliable and elegant second-hand car that caters to your modern needs, the Opel Insignia should be at the top of your list. It's a silver symbol of automotive excellence waiting to enhance your journey.
