This Finlux TV has a nice ultra-slim design but unfortunately the frame of the TV is way too big which makes it  look even bigger than it really is.

Here are some beauty images of the Citroen Tubik van at the 2012 Paris Motor Show which took part this autumn.  Citroen Tubik is a very interesting concept which we first saw at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and the fact that French manufacturer showcases this car for second year in a row may speak for a production vehicle in the very near future. We expect PSA to give their final decision about this project very soon.

Can tablets replace laptops?

Tablet practicality vs laptop functionality

can tablets replace laptops
Can tablets really replace laptops? We made a short survey to check with everyone's opinion on this question and it seems the laptops are here to stay or at least our readers think so.
As the poll shows more than 40% agree with what is our own opinion on this question - laptops won't be replaced by tablets at this point. More than 35% of the voters consider tablets to be the next leader in portable computing in the very near future. And some 24% are confident tablets can replace laptops or they have already done it.

Samsung WB750 review - Samsung WB750 is a very capable and also very affordable compact digital camera. It has 12.5-megapixel sensor and massive 18x optical zoom.
But that is not all that impressed us in this camera. It can also record a superb Full HD 1080p (max. resolution of 1920x1080) videos with stereo sound. Samsung WB750 also has 3D function which lets you capture amazing 3D images.

2013 Volvo V40 Cross Country review

Volvo V40 Cross Country review - Volvo presented few new models at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and I have to say I was quite impressed with the new Volvo V40 Cross Country.

There are some obvious changes that make this capable light off-road vehicle stand out from the base V40 estate. I myself particularly liked the macho exterior styling and the compact size of the car.

Finlux 32F8030-T 32-inch Smart TV specs and review
Finlux 32F8030-T 32-inch Smart TV specs and review
Finlux 32F8030-T review - probably most of you had already began the Christmas shopping and what better choice for a Christmas present than a new TV. The market is literally flooded with offers for new LED, 3D, HD, Full HD, Smart TV etc. TVs and it would be quite hard for most consumers to pick the right one. There are two key factors when buying electronic equipment like this - specs and price.
If you have already decided that you don't want to spend a lot on new TV and made your budget on the low side than you should start looking for the best specs for your money. When talking about new LED TVs I myself usually recommend brands like LG, Samsung and Sony because they've proved reliable and offer good quality for the buck. But there is one big problem with their cheaper models - they are quite short on features. And this is the time when cheap brands like Finlux start to make sense.

If we take the Finlux 32F8030-T Smart TV for example, you will need at least £60-80 more for a similar spec LG or Samsung TV.
There are few main features that make the Finlux 32F8030-T a very good deal. First of all it is a Full HD 1080p panel  with LED back lighting. The brightness is 450 cd /m2 and the refresh rate of 50Hz is also on the low side, but this is quite common in this price segment.
The Finlux 32F8030-T has built-in media player which supports picture, music and video playback. It also supports PVR recording through the USB. The big surprise is that this is a WiFi ready TV with full Smart TV functions. Some of these include Internet and social apps like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, BBC player and some others.

And to make things complete the Finlux 32F8030-T has Freeview HD digital tuner.
As you can see this TV is almost fully loaded and the price of £230 leaves no chance for the competition.
Of course the picture quality of the Finlux 32F8030-T is also no match to this of a similar Samsung TV but that is what you get if you want to keep a tide budget.

Scroll Pocket tablet review - I am not sure what the purpose of a mini tablet like this one would be but it seems that everything that has the 'Android' tag is instantly becoming popular.

Storage Options offers the 4.3-inch mini tablet with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and hardware which is far from impressive. The strange thing here is that the manufacturer doesn't even mention the main characteristics of the hardware of this tablet (not even on their website) like processor speed, RAM volume and some other important parameters.

Sony KDL-32EX650 uses Edge LED backlight technology which is much more efficient compared to standard LCD panels. The TV supports full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 and has dynamic contrast ratio of over 1 million.

Finlux 42F503 review - this cheap 42-inch LCD TV is currently on sale at eBay for less than £300. This is a very good price for a TV of this size with Full HD 1080p picture.

The refresh rate of this TV is only 50Hz so in case you need a gaming TV or intend to watch a lot of action movies you better look elsewhere.

LG 32LS5600 review - this 32-inch Full HD LED TV is probably one of the best offers in this price segment. LG 32LS5600 has plenty of good features and specifications but the price tag is surprisingly low.

One of the main reasons for that is because this TV is offered mostly in the Eastern European market where the price is a huge factor when choosing a TV.
One of the key features of the LG 32LS5600 is that it offers very good Full HD picture in  1080p resolution of 1920x1080.

Busbi 7 is an affordable device which won't offer the greatest Android experience you can get from a tablet but in this price range that is nothing unusual.

Hardware - Busbi tablet relies on a single core 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and only 512MB of DDR3  RAM. With specs like these you can expect anything else but speed. The space for storage is 4GB but that is easily expandable with the help of microSD card slot.

2013 Range Rover 4 test drive and review

2013 Range Rover 4 review - we have to admit that the latest generation Range Rover is probably the most exciting premiere of the year. This year the automotive world is focused on few new models and Range Rover 4 attracted the biggest attention.

There are plenty of innovations in the new Range Rover. It has new all aluminium chassis and aluminium engines as well. Now the big SUV is lighter, just a bit bigger but more economical than ever. Dynamics is another key feature in the new Range Rover 4. With the new lightweight construction and powerful engines the big SUV handles much better than its predecessor.
Range Rover 4 also has new or should we say revised adaptive suspension which also improves ride quality and handling.

Of course the estate version of the 3-series will be offered with petrol engines as well.

Apple iPad Mini tablet hands-on video spoof review

Funny Apple iPad Mini tablet hands-on video spoof review

iPad 3 review
Apple iPad Mini spoof review - here is an interesting hands-on video review of the brand new Apple iPad Mini tablet. As you've probably noticed a lot of people are already sick of Apple's ridiculous iPhone and iPad commercials. Now you can find hundreds of spoof videos for every new Apple product. The reason is because so many people find it quite annoying the way Apple promotes its new products. In this iPad Mini spoof review the new tablet is compared to the best selling smartphone Google Galaxy Nexus (by Samsung). This phone was actually banned in US for quite some time because of an Apple claim against Samsung. Another ridiculous thing about Apple is the latest 'round edges' patent they got few days ago which suggests anything with round edges is an iPad... I am not sure who does the marketing at Apple but they definitely need to clear their minds and start fresh or soon they are going to sell their products to their employees and some sick Apple fans. Enjoy the video!

Opel Adam test drive and review

Opel Adam test drive and review - features, specifications and video review of the charming small car Opel Adam

Opel Adam front brown
Opel Adam review
Opel Adam review - when it was first announced this 3-door hatchback was a bit of a surprise for us and a bit strange that Opel decided to name such a small vehicle after the great name of the company's founder Adam Opel. Probably many Opel enthusiasts who expected some kind of super car for this occasion will be a bit disappointed.

But Opel Adam can't be called a disappointment at all. This small charming city car drove so much attention to it that it was actually the best presented car for Opel at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. That is where we had our first meeting with the car. There were literally at least 10 different versions of the small Adam there, in different exterior and interior colors and modifications. This variety of colors and designs was really stunning.

Opel Adam front cherry
The cherry Opel Adam with white elements
The exterior of the small Adam is similar to the one of lets say a Fiat 500 or Audi A1 but has typical Opel design elements. The overall result is very good and leaves the impression of one of these small expensive boutique cars that you see on Paris avenues. The front looks sporty but not too aggressive so it will suit both man and women. The rear of the car is dominated by Opel's boomerang tail lights and a wide trunk opening. This boomerang form can be also found in the front daylight running LED lights.

Opel Adam's interior feels very roomy and all the instruments are easy to reach and use. The dashboard is also quite fashionable and is probably more on the feminine side but in that case is not a bad thing.
Opel Adam steering wheel
Opel Adam steering wheel
Opel Adam interior
Ope Adam instrument panel
At first Opel Adam will be powered by 1.2 or 1.4 petrol engines coupled with 5-speed manual gearbox. The power output for these starts from 51 kW (70 PS) up to 74 kW (100 PS) for the most powerful version. Later next year new direct-injection engines and automatic transmission will be presented for this small hatchback. Opel are also planning a hybrid powertrain for Adam in early 2014.

So, our overall impressions with the Opel Adam are very good. It is a small city car with plenty of modification options which definitely makes it more charismatic and desirable. But Opel Adam will have to face tough competitors like the Fiat 500, Audi A1 and of course the Citroen DS3. All of them are very good cars but we are positive about the Adam's success.

Google Nexus 4 released and for sale - Nexus 4 phone review

Google Nexus 4 LG phone specs and review - the new Nexus 4 phone is now released and already for sale

Google Nexus 4 specs

Short video review, images and more info about the new Google Nexus 4 by LG

Google Nexus 4 phone
LG Google Nexus 4 released

Google Nexus 4 review - so here it is, the all new smartphone from Google and LG is released and ready to hit the stores. Google Nexus 4 is the successor of the wonderful Samsung Galaxy Nexus which became one of the most popular Android phones around the world. As we take a closer look at the new Nexus 4 phone we can positively say it will manage to keep and probably expand Google's positions in smartphone market. Google Nexus 4 is fast and very capable smartphone with amazing 4.7-inch curved HD display. The 320ppi screen has resolution of 1280 x 768 and has scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protective cover. The side edges of the Nexus 4 are round and they make a very nice smooth transition to the display itself, looks and feels very nice. It is definitely one of the best displays on a phone out there, very crisp with true vivid colors.
The hardware inserted in the Nexus 4 is cutting-edge. Fast 1.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM assure the fast and smooth operation of the phone. And the 3D graphics support will give you an amazing experience on the huge 4.7-inch display. Storage - the Nexus 4 is going to be offered with 16GB of built-in memory.
Google Nexus 4 smartphone
Google Live on Google Nexus 4 phone
One interesting feature of the Google Nexus 4 smartphone is its camera. Of course it has two cameras on board, but the more exciting is the rear 8.0-megapixel autofocus camera. Google calls it Photo Sphere camera. It makes great stills and Full HD 1080p videos and has the capability of making stunning 360° panoramas. The interface is very intuitive and it is easy to navigate through different camera features. One great feature of the camera is the option of zooming in and out while shooting a video, the continuous focus will take care for the rest.
Google Nexus 4 back
Google Nexus 4 back side and Photo Sphere camera
Google Nexus 4 smartphone is equipped with all the connectivity options you can imagine. These include WiFi N connection, Bluetooth, GPS, and of course 4G. With the built-in GPS and preinstalled Google Maps this phone is just perfect for navigation. It offers you turn-by-turn GPS navigation, live traffic info, and integrated driving, walking and public transit directions. Really great features in case you lost you way somewhere or you just need some help in finding your way to your next destination.
Google Maps GPS Nexus 4
GPS Navigation on Nexus 4 is easy with Google Maps
Google Nexus 4 will run on the latest Android 4.2 operating system. It will be preinstalled with many Google apps like Google Now, Google Maps, Google Wallet, Google Play, Android Beam. Many more can be found at Google Play (Android market).
Google Nexus 4 smartphone
Google Play on Nexus 4
So what is the verdict for the new Galaxy Nexus 4. Well it is very capable device and it will be in great competition with some of Samsung and HTC smartphones and of course the iPhone 5. The charismatic Google logo and the quality hardware of the Nexus 4 are definitely going to make it a real best seller no matter the high selling price of around $500 without contract. Probably it will be more appealing when offered with contracts by some of the big carriers with an affordable price tag.

Windows 8 OS now officially in Eastern Europe

Windows 8 operating system has finally arrived in Eastern Europe

Windows 8 in Eastern Europe

Windows 8 OS comes with a new version of the browser Internet Explorer - the tenth. It is available in two versions - the classic desktop and other specially designed to work with touch screens.

An important novelty is the version of Windows RT,

which is available only as a pre-installed on computers and tablets with ARM processors.

RT offers preinstalled Office suite, but under its management will be able to work the old programs for Windows, but only applications specifically written for the new interface Modern UI.

However, RT provides the advantage to work in smaller and lighter devices, as well as a longer battery life.

In contrast to her other - and the basic version, called simply Windows 8 provides full compatibility with old software. Own it will be available in dva main options - Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro. Pro includes all the features of Windows 8, but also has advanced features for encryption, virtualization management, computer and more.

For large business organizations is designed  Windows 8 Enterprise, which provided new opportunities in terms of mobile productivity with features like Windows To Go, DirectAccess and BranchCache, and better security with features such as BitLocker and AppLocker.
In our preliminary except as installation
Windows 8 comes with an attractive option to upgrade:
by the end of January 2013 customers who have PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 can purchase and download online Windows 8 Pro for an estimated retail price lev 58.66 (equivalent to 29.99 euros).

Users with Windows 7 computers purchased between June 2nd, 2012 and January 31, 2013 in over 140 countries around the world can download Windows 8 Pro price of 29.32 lev

More about innovations in Windows 8 General Manager says "Microsoft" for Central and Eastern Europe Takuya Hirano.

- You say "the new face of Windows" ("Windows reimagined"). So is there a big change?

- There are different ways of saying it. The first Windows product was a great influence, Windows 95 - too. And then, I think Windows 8 is the third such product.

The technology is based on Windows 7 - greatly improved, but not compromised user experience. Basically we try to combine the digital lifestyle style work in the digital age.
Behold, I am a typical user, I am not technical guru. Stop using the keyboard because I can work while I walk, I can do several things at once. I have hundreds of applications, but the home screen stand those who use the most: behold, these are for my work email, calendar, tasks with ... live tiles and show what happens - for the last two hours I have 54 letters, you have to catch up with them. I have a business application, news ... Responsible for 24 states, I need information by country.

Whole new interface is very different from what it was, but it is easy to connect with people.

I have four kids, so I have games - can only say that they are not for me but for my children ... As a consumer product "Microsoft" and the next test version of the Office. And besides, I have the classic desktop.

Here's what I mean when I say connect the digital lifestyle with the style of work in the digital age. We try to meet the needs of the market - there is a complete unit. I think this is the idea of  Windows 8.

- Windows 8 looks and works very well on tablets. But how is a normal laptop or desktop computer?

- Good work. I have two machines - this tablet and normal computer that use Windows 8 last 6-7 months. So ...

- But the change of the interface is significant. There are users accustomed to the mouse and keyboard ... Do not you think that these new OS will look weird?

- Recently asked me: "Will you mouse away? Either keyboard?" Unless someone not as thin as a supermodel fingers will not disappear ... Just kidding! With fingers is easy and intuitive. But when it comes to business, on-screen keyboard is not enough. The mouse is needed when working with Excell. The same goes for the work of designers and architects - you need precision, fingers are not a good option.
Intuitive operation interefeysa a priority - work by touch or by voice. But I do not think the keyboard will disappear. Windows 8 offers both opportunities.

- Speaking aloud, Windows 8 Can work with voice commands?

- You, yes.

- You said that Windows 8  builds on  the technical level of Windows 7, in terms of stability?

- Yes. You mean Windows 8 and the business? About compatibility is a key concept. No problem, almost painless switch from Windows 7 to Windows 8 - mostly because Windows 8 relies on the technology of its predecessor.

- Windows XP is still very popular here ...

- Great Product!

- But it's pretty old. And Windows 7 is three years. Will you sell it?

- For Windows XP, first I think there is a huge return on investment - used 14 years! Windows 8 is based on Windows 7, so I think that consumers should not only look at the new interface and new features, but the base - as security. There are always new threats, it is better to use the most advanced technology. But it is a matter of preference of the client.

- What is the most important feature of the new Windows? Compatibility, security, speed, capacity for integrated online services ...?

- I will answer with a yes, yes, yes and yes. Windows 8 was tested in 127 countries. We received lots of feedback which is important. I think that security is the main thing that is required

But also important are the new devices, the cloud, intuitive interface ... Also the possibility for customization. And the connectivity between people: here's an example - read the article, clicking on the "share" and voila.

Important and increasing productivity. People want more, we can not compromise.

- You said that the new Windows is seriously tested. When Windows 7 came out, he was named the most tested product "Microsoft" before its release.

- Windows 8 breaks records. Preliminary version was downloaded over 16 million times - so it becomes the most tested version of Windows to date.

Windows 8 creates many opportunities for developers to create their own applications (applications, apps). This is a big difference with Windows 7. There was Windows Store. There are now a variety of applications from all over the world. There are hundreds of thousands of developers. In  Windows Store now has many applications.

- It seems that applications are now the "new gods", they are very important part of the entire ecosystem: Windows 8,  Windows Store, and even devices like Surface. How do you plan to develop it?

- "Microsoft" are always appreciated developers and their communities. We develop many different programs, organize events for them, so there is nothing new. These are efforts that continue. In preparation for the launch of Windows 8 had organized many such events.

We have more than 400 thousand developers who have participated in more than 800 special events organized in 87 countries. In September 2012 more than 2500 developers set a record of "Guinness" and participated in the marathon for programmers - Windows AppFest in Bangalore, India. I had to write applications 18 hours non-stop.

Now in Bulgaria is similar to "hack run" - "hakaton."

This is just a small example. There are many developers that communicating over the years. Before Windows 8 had many events to encourage them. This trend will continue.

- Windows 8 is a single platform for all devices. This is new. Why?

- The way you use your computer changes over time. Before the goal was one computer for everyone. Now we have smartphones, the second computer, even our car is almost computer. You can now use one device in the day, when you have another home - and if you log in all your stuff will be there. This integration will be much easier if one platform. The environment is changing, we - well. We provide a uniform user experience.

- If we talk about simplicity, it is necessary to the new Windows is available in two versions -  RT and Windows 8 ? What are the goals of the two options?

- First we give customers a choice. RT provides certain advantages in terms of size and weight of the devices. Depends on customer preferences, this is the main reason.

And the price - the option to upgrade ends in January. The price it is quite acceptable for a product company - about $ 40? What will happen next?

The price certainly is strategically determined. I hope that the company will set prices that are attractive. Windows 7 was the best-selling Windows and I think Windows 8 will maintain this trend, so the price must be right.

And the new Windows 8:

Whether you prefer a tablet PC or if you want to create content, work or entertain - Windows 8 offers a personalized experience that meets the specific style and requirements of each one of us said George amr, CEO of "Microsoft Bulgaria" .

"I believe that Windows 8 will provide new opportunities for people to use information technology.'ll Expand your reach.'s Why we tried first the Bulgarian market with the widest range of models commercially available," says Daniel Valkov manager Acer to Bulgaria.

"Samsung e first company to offer a full range of devices specifically optimized for Windows 8." Microsoft "is our ally in the idea to provide the best smart experience.

Our extensive experience in design and technology combined with the intuitive features of Windows 8 offer consumers a device that will help them to be productive in their work or to enjoy at home, "said Shakir Ahmedov IT division manager in the Bulgarian branch of Samsung Electronics.

"Leading up to our newest  VAIO products  are bright and fast touchscreen managed 10 points of contact simultaneously, using the advantages of the Windows 8 operating system," said Masato and Nakano, VP "Networking products" to "Sony Europe Limited" .

We are entering a historical transition from the PC era to the new era of cloud where each device should be intuitive, mobile and adaptive, highlights Johnny Shih, chairman of  ASUS.

2013 Hyundai i30 car test drive and review

My consumer review of the 2013 Hyundai i30 - images + video

Hyundai i30 2013
2013 Hyundai i30 in Paris

2013 Hyundai i30 review
- in today's car review we are meeting you with one of the most successful Korean vehicles in last few years. Hyundai i30 was positioned at the most crowded car segment in Europe and had to face the competition from VW, Opel and Ford. We have to say that the i30 did great and now VW Golf, Opel Astra, Ford Focus and company have to watch out for every step forward of the Korean. The latest generation Hyundai i30 was presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show and of course we were there to capture the glory of the new vehicle. If I have to be honest I wasn't surprised at all with the car I saw there and the quality of the brand it represented.
